This journal is basically a documentary of my Junior year of college here at The University of Tampa while also sharing plenty of hobbies and interests of mine that i love. The means of capturing all of these memories and creations has been through my phone's camera, my GoPro Hero3, social media, sharing with friends, and the world wide web for specific images. Whats important to me is family and friends and having a good time with no matter what i am doing. The ocean is my playground and theres seriously nothing more exciting and fascinating to me then this. Now that i have my waterproof camera (GoPro) i can capture so many more moments that i experience while doing what i love which can be everything from surfing, swimming, scuba diving, wake boarding, water skiing, and boating. Since its so mobile and versatile i have been able to get photos from the craziest angles and perspectives. I enjoy all of my photos so much that its become an addiction. Anything i find myself doing can be filmed or photographed now so i don't see a reason not to. When i look through all of them on my computer it brings every bit of the memory back to me so vividly. This will certainly be something that when i am a lot older and grown up i can potentially show my kids and family. Along with having the GoPro, my camera on the iphone takes some of the best photos i have ever seen. Its amazing what kind of quality you truly can get with a phone. Since the thing is attached to me all day every day and same with everyone pretty much, so many pictures get taken constantly and the collection is growing and growing. I am even starting to run out of memory on my phone there are so many but when i go to make room by deleting some of them i cant make a decision. Some of the things pictured above are My friends and i wake boarding at a cable park in Tampa Florida. The lake is beautiful and every time we go we drive in my buddies jeep wrangler which really adds to the whole experience. Along with wake boarding i absolutely love skateboarding and long boarding around Tampa and all the surrounding skate parks. During the winter while i am home in New Jersey i go snowboarding. I like to do every thing basically! I have plenty of pictures surfing in Ocean City, NJ and Cocoa Beach, FL out in the water. Some of my favorite pictures came from the Bahamas whether it was during the summer while i was on vacation with my family or when it was me and some friends on spring break also in the Bahamas. The colors of the water amongst the white sand and perfect weather really make for one hell of picture. Parasailing and diving with sharks are my top activities. There were no words for how amazing and beautiful these moments were at the time but now that i can relive them whenever i want by looking through my journal its great. I have pictures of a lion and his cub, my dog Bella, and also my best friends dog Little Man. These animals are definitely my favorite starting with the lion. Lions are the king of the jungle and represent the aspect of family, power, respect, and dominance which are characteristics that stand out so proudly to me. I strive to be similar to a lion in a means of showing strength and confidence in what ever i'm doing. The next to animals are pets that i have spent a lot of time. My family lives in New Jersey so theres go a lot of time missed to see my parents, brother, and shih tzu Bella. While at school i see and play with Little Man, a very friendly Dauchshund, a wiener dog that enjoys cuddling and hanging out. My dog Bella is really the best dog in the world. She's friendly, loves playing fetch, cuddling, does not bark, and doesn't shed. She is programmed to do one thing only and that is loving my family and i. There are picture of my truck which i am obsessed with and also my friend sean shooting off a potato gun. In all of these pictures i have tried capturing some of the wildest moments in the most bright, vivid, and colorful setting just so the photo is enhanced and really made into an art. Every bit of a picture effects the meaning and quality. There are not many hidden messages or deep backgrounds to them but i enjoy how they are straight forward and get right to the point. When i look at pictures without reading a caption or having someone explain to me what the photo is about i get confused and might just not show an interest at all. I look forward to getting better with photography and editing so i can take it to the limit and blow people away. When i post pictures on social networks or show friends i want them to feel excited and interested in what it is. I don't want to waste someones time with a dumb and boring photo only because i honestly feel that way looking through a feed on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter sometimes because people don't put too much of an effort into it.
